As within, So without, 2022
Latex pill molds, led, plexy, 200 x 70 cm
As Within, So Without, is produced by pouring latex into used pill containers. In each, one can see the finger marks to take out the pill. As individuals pushing to leave existing structures, a life saving daily material was transformed. As Within, So Without, recalls the buttons we constantly push, our embodiments and our efforts to leave structures. It invites the viewer to reconsider where is inside and where is outside. The work was exhibited in I haven’t taken an oath (April 8 – June 4, 2022) that took place in Barın Han.
